Our story
The name of the brand - HACHIKO comes from a deep admiration for Japanese culture and the famous story of the loyal dog Hachiko, who waited for his owner at the station for years, even after his death. This symbol of loyalty and devotion reflects our values in the pursuit of organic ceremonial matcha. Just as Hachiko was loyal to his owner, we are committed to the highest quality matcha, which we carefully source from Japan. Japanese culture has inspired us with its calmness, respect for tradition, and harmony with nature. The matcha we use is of the highest quality and organically grown, emphasizing our commitment to purity and environmental care. We drink matcha instead of coffee because it connects us to the Japanese way of life, which values tranquility. Instead of the quick energy boost that coffee provides, matcha gives us sustained focus and calm energy, which is essential for daily life and work.

We quickly realized that most matcha on the market doesn't reflect that authentic quality. Many matcha blends (like matcha lattes) are filled with sugar, sweeteners, powdered milk, and other additives, without true respect for the ceremonial tradition that is so important in Japanese culture.
That's why we decided to create Hachiko Matcha – a brand that brings true, organic, ceremonial matcha to people, without unnecessary additives. We want everyone who tries our matcha to experience its real taste and the positive effects it brings. Matcha is a symbol of simplicity and sophistication – it’s made from the youngest, most delicate leaves of the tea plant, carefully processed and ground into fine powder. Just as Hachiko, through his devotion, became a symbol of patience and unconditional love, our matcha is the product of dedicated work and love for quality.
In a world where coffee often represents a fast and stressful start to the day, matcha offers the opposite – a sense of calm, focus, and lasting energy without the quick crash.
Discover why Hachiko matcha is the choice of those seeking the highest quality matcha on the market.

First-Grade Ceremonial Quality
Hachiko Matcha is made from the youngest and most delicate leaves at the top of the Camellia sinensis plant, which contain the richest concentration of nutrients. Before harvesting, the plants are shaded for several weeks, which increases the chlorophyll and amino acid content, especially L-theanine, contributing to a smoother aroma and taste.

SI-EKO-002
Certified organic
Hachiko Matcha is produced in accordance with the principles of organic farming and certified under the supervision of SI-EKO-002. Since matcha involves consuming the entire ground tea leaf, organic cultivation is especially important. In addition, it is GMO-free and gluten-free.

Why is it important to choose ceremonial matcha from organic cultivation?
Quality of cultivation: Hachiko Matcha is produced in accordance with the principles of organic farming and certified under the supervision of SI-EKO-002. Since matcha involves consuming the entire ground tea leaf, the quality of cultivation is especially important.
Higher nutrient content: Ceremonial-grade matcha made from the highest quality tea leaves contains higher levels of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals compared to lower-grade matcha.
Better taste and aroma: Ceremonial matcha is made from the youngest tea leaves, giving it a smooth, slightly sweet flavor and a rich texture, without the bitterness typical of lower-quality varieties.
Traditional cultivation methods: Ceremonial matcha is produced using traditional methods that preserve the cultural and historical value of this tea.
