Our story
The name of the brand - HACHIKO comes from a deep admiration for Japanese culture and the famous story of the loyal dog Hachiko, who waited for his owner at the station for years, even after his death. This symbol of loyalty and devotion reflects our values in the pursuit of organic ceremonial matcha. Just as Hachiko was loyal to his owner, we are committed to the highest quality matcha, which we carefully source from Japan. Japanese culture has inspired us with its calmness, respect for tradition, and harmony with nature. The matcha we use is of the highest quality and organically grown, emphasizing our commitment to purity and environmental care. We drink matcha instead of coffee because it connects us to the Japanese way of life, which values tranquility. Instead of the quick energy boost that coffee provides, matcha gives us sustained focus and calm energy, which is essential for daily life and work.

We quickly realized that most matcha on the market doesn't reflect that authentic quality. Many matcha blends (like matcha lattes) are filled with sugar, sweeteners, powdered milk, and other additives, without true respect for the ceremonial tradition that is so important in Japanese culture.
That's why we decided to create Hachiko Matcha – a brand that brings true, organic, ceremonial matcha to people, without unnecessary additives. We want everyone who tries our matcha to experience its real taste and the positive effects it brings. Matcha is a symbol of simplicity and sophistication – it’s made from the youngest, most delicate leaves of the tea plant, carefully processed and ground into fine powder. Just as Hachiko, through his devotion, became a symbol of patience and unconditional love, our matcha is the product of dedicated work and love for quality.
In a world where coffee often represents a fast and stressful start to the day, matcha offers the opposite – a sense of calm, focus, and lasting energy without the quick crash.

Hachiko matcha is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Instead, natural methods are employed to protect the plants and improve the soil, such as composting and biological pest control. In addition to being organically grown, the product is gluten-free, vegan, and free from GMOs (genetically modified organisms).

Why is it important to choose ceremonial matcha from organic cultivation?
Pesticide and Chemical-Free: Organic cultivation ensures that the matcha is free from pesticides and harmful chemicals, contributing to a cleaner and healthier drink.
Higher Nutritional Content: Ceremonial-grade matcha made from the highest quality tea leaves contains more antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals than lower-grade matcha, enhancing its health benefits.
Better Taste and Aroma: Ceremonial matcha is made from the youngest leaves, giving it a delicate, sweet note and rich texture, without the bitterness often found in lower-quality varieties.
Traditional Production Methods: Ceremonial matcha is produced using ancient methods, preserving the cultural and historical value of this tea.
